Hakutake KAORU

This authentic shochu was born from Takahashi Shuzo's desire to create a rice shochu that can be enjoyed casually every day by a new generation that has never drunk shochu before. "We researched what kind of shochu people were seeking, and found that it had to have a good balance of aroma and taste.  So our distillation staff applied their skills to create 'Hakutake KAORU'" says Kazuhiro Kubota, General Manager of the Customer Creation Division. "It pairs perfectly with a wide range of dishes. And 'Hakutake KAORU' comes in an easy-to-carry pack and also is a favorite shochu for the home." 

Ginrei Shiro(Gin Shiro)

The charm of this Shochu is its elegant aroma and clear taste, just like sake also known as Ginshiro. An authentic rice shochu, it maximizes the aroma by using sake yeast while maintaining the taste of 'Hakutake Shiro.'
"It has the aroma of sake, but no carbs or purines are found in this healthy rice shochu! You will feel even more refreshed when you wake up the next day," says Mr. Kubota. Currently the company's key products, Hakutake and Hakutake Shiro, are shipped not only domestically but exported to 33 countries around the world, Orders for Ginrei Shiro, which is more aromatic, have been increasing in recent years. It's best to drink mixing it with club soda in the summertime - or to drink as hot shochu in the wintertime, diluting it with hot water imparting more aroma.
