The company's signature 'Shochu Hakutake' went on sale around 1960, and later 'Hakutake Shiro' was released in the 1980s. Ever since, these two shochu have become the key products of Takahashi Shuzo and loved by many people. Mr. Kubota says, "While striving to make these two shochu available to as many people as possible, we are always looking for new trends, and trying to brew what's popular among the younger generation hoping to reach them. That's how the 'Hakutake KAORU' pack was derived with the intention to be easier to "carry and consume casually at home."
